Everyday we are bombarded with images of black people in baggy clothes and hoodies committing crime, so it should come to no surprise that eventually people will feel threatened if they see someone who fits this profile.Honestly though, there is no excuse for what this gentleman did; according to Trayvon's girlfriend, who was on the phone with him for part of the incident, Trayvon was essentially running away from Mr. Zimmerman who was apparently stalking him. If stalking someone and then killing them while they are trying to escape your assault on them is self-defense, I think we as a society need to re-think the true motivation behind both this killing and the failure of the police to arrest Mr. Zimmerman: racism.Robert Tuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15172313565870001219noreply@blogger.com
