Three Women Charged in Avery Drug Counts

Last Tuesday, the Avery Sheriff/Municipal Drug Task force charged Monica Burleson, 24 of Bakersville, NC with felony drug violations.  Monica Burleson was placed under a $1000.00 secured bond. Then last Wednesday, the Avery Sheriff/Municipal Drug Task force charged Jamie Burleson, 30, of Bakersville, NC with Possession of Schedule II controlled substance and Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Schedule II controlled substances.  Jamie Burleson was placed under a $1000 secured bond. Sunday, the Avery County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged Shelly Helms, 34, with Sell and Deliver of Schedule VI to a minor.  Helms was placed under a $15,000.00 unsecured bond. http://goblueridge.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11624:three-women-charged-in-avery-drug-counts&catid=1
