I completely agree with you here. It is ridiculous that the media shows so much of this random violence - when it is so infrequent and fortuitous. The media is like an oppressive organization which keeps perpetuating propaganda frames which do not represent reality - and influence their viewers in negative ways. Aka. they keep us on our butts watching tv.
