Jon Stewart on INVENTED media conflict

Jon Stewart does it again.

We can only wonder what the real news would be like if it had this kind of wit and imagination.

The "conflict" about Obama's speech--Wednesday or Thursday?--was literally invented by the media. And we are all weaker for it.

The description from "The Daily Show" is: "The 24-hour news media turn a tale of reasonable accommodation into a tale of manufactured conflict."

  1. Are we the country weaker for it? No. Is the American media weaker for it because of their continued dumbing down of Americans. Jon Stewart shows just how silly
mainstream media is for spending any time at all on what amounted to a scheduling conflict/change. As quickly as my finger can change the remote is how much time should be spent reporting on a scheduling conflict or change. It's certainly is a joke. Thank you again Jon Stewart for reminding us of it.
