Rich, white, and male tend to be the saving factors in American society. It is good to know that if there was to be a nuclear attack I would have at least 5 seconds to protect myself. While people within certain rage of ground zero would be killed immediatley. There would not be enough healthcare to help all those injured. That tends to be the way our society works though. Help those that can help themselves first. Profit is the number one thing. Once everyone who has the money to prepare and seek help has been treated then they turn efforts to the less fortunate. It needs to be on the basis of humans themselves. People should want to help others out of the kindness of their hearts and simply to help out others no matter the color or finicial status.
