This is a wonderful example of how much celebrity news intrigues tv viewers. Not only do people enjoy watching these shows on a regular basis, but then we have to go and see articles that talk about them even more! People like these shows, but they know that they are annoying and overall ridiculous anyway. More media, about media....it is the fake tan, back-stabbing circle known as reality tv.
The people in society are fascinated with celebrities and their lives. The people in reality television become celebrities because the public loves them or loves to hate them. They get to watch people fall in love, fight, party, get arrested, etc. People from the Bachelor and Jersey Shore are depicted here and are prime examples of reality television. The public is attracted to violence, scandals and controversy, so reality television will continue to thrive. The corporations make a profit from the viewers interest in these kinds of shows. I don't see them going away any time soon.
