Donald Rumsfeld's greatest regret

Not an illegal, unnecessary war that killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and injured hundreds of thousands of US troops, costing US taxpayers trillions of dollars.

Not torture.

None of that kind of stuff.

But not quitting soon enough.

Amazing.

And he still says: "I think the world's a better place with Saddam Hussein gone and with the Taliban gone and the Al-Qaeda out of Afghanistan."

Tell that to the Iraqis and Afghans.

  1. I think the last five paragraphs in this story are pretty interesting. They start a war with Iraq because they thought Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. But then asked if he would push for war knowing that Hussein did not have any weapons of mass destruction, and he has no idea? It seems like the answer would be simple, at least to me. No weapons of mass destruction, no war. Why the I don't know? If the evidence isn't there, how can you go to war? I hate to say it, but almost sounds like they were looking for any reason to start a war.
