Stories IGNORED by the corporate media

These are the stories of ordinary people taking a stand, trying to make a difference. And you won't see them in the mainstream media.

Ah, leave it to Truth-out to tell us about them

Yay for independent media!

  1. It is a shame that so many great stories that could have a great impact on us are seemingly unavailable to us. If a story will not sell and draw a great audience, it generally will not get published. If I were a reporter, I would present stories and ideas that were relevant to the common man. I would publish articles about local heroes, those stories that make us feel something other than the same old everyday articles do. If the media really want to impact people, they need to forget their potential profit and reach out to their readers. If they present stories they can identify with, they will have the respect and following of an even greater, more loyal audience.
