This story is subtitled: "sex, lies and videotape."
Seriously. And yes, there was a movie titled that!
Now it is THE NEWS!
From the article:
"An FBI employee shared confidential information with his girlfriend, who was a news reporter, then later threatened to release a sex tape the two had made."
"A supervisor watched pornographic videos in his office during work hours while 'satisfying himself.'"
"And an employee in a 'leadership position' misused a government database to check on two friends who were exotic dancers and allowed them into an FBI office after hours."
Exactly one of these stories is serious. The rest, who cares? And this is news because ???

The reason that a story like this got into the news, is because it is outrageous. I think that the majority of people like to read articles about people in high up places doing stupid things. That is definitely what is going on in this article. In reality, no one cares that an FBI employee invited two exotic dancers back with him to his office, or that another agent blackmailed his girlfriend, or that another one was satisfying himself during working hours. However, it is hilarious and that is why people do like to read articles like this. i think that people view the FBI as an elite organization and with this article, it shows that the FBI is filled with dumb and idiotic people, just like any other organization.
