You think the US is tough on crime?

How about LIFE in prison for not paying traffic tolls?

In fairness to China, Shi Jianfeng avoided highway tolls that added up to more than 3.68 million yuan ($560,000)!

What kind of roads was this guy driving on?

Oh yeah, and they also shoot criminals in the head!

  1. American's tend to believe that we have it harsh. The criminal justice system is seen as prejudice and corrupt. We take our freedoms and rights for granted. Ususally, we save the death penalty for most violent offenders, not for traffic offenders. We must step outside of our own lives and see the injustice in other societies. No amount of debts not paid off should equal someone's life.
